Technological revolution did not pass over the nursery and brought all kinds of innovations that won't shame even high-tech enterprise worthy of the name - computerized pneumatic seeding machines, temperature and humidity controlled germination rooms, tray cleaning and sterilization machines, sophisticated irrigation and fertilization systems and computerized management system that can tell the specific location of each tray in the greenhouse along with every detail of it.

Hashtil Nursery is always facing forward and involves in constant research and improvement, using her vast experience. The nursery spends a lot of time looking for smart ideas from Israel and abroad, which will improve the quality of the final product, whether it's a healthy and sustainable vegetable seedling for the Israeli farmer caring for his living, or a colourful flower for the amateur gardener.

A living example of these efforts is the flood irrigation method developed at the nursery over the years, which continues to improve all the time. This method provides absolute solution to disease and fungus caused by moisture on the foliage and thus achieves a number of invaluable objectives: peace of mind for farmers receiving resistant and healthy seedlings that will supply them with a large crop, reducing the use of pesticides and chemicals - contributes to environmental and cleanliness of the plant residue of toxic substances, and in addition to those also saves water.

In 2011 launched Hashtil Nursery the revolutionary tray of its kind in the country and the world - exclusively developed by the nursery. With the accumulated experience using different types of nursery trays, and depth of thought and research, the "Aviram"(Hebrew slogan for the words "air multi tray") was created - a tray with air vents that allow air flow upwards between the plants cells. These air vents allow the leaves of the seedling to dry faster and avoid creating high humidity microclimate which invites many kinds of fungus and diseases.

The tray comes in small measures for a comfortable grip in the hands of the worker, yet keeping a good space between the seedling cells creating appropriate growing conditions.

This tray joins to the variety of trays in the nursery along with the "Super-Ramshtil" (super-multi-tray) – our proven and tested plastic tray used by industrial pepper growers. This tray is well known for its advantages for developing healthy root system by adding 40% more cell volume in comparison to a polystyrene tray with the same measures and cell number.
