The transport department at Hasthil Nursery takes care of the seedlings from the moment they exit the greenhouse until they arrive in the farmer's field using modern truck fleet , while meeting deadlines and matching customer's needs.
The seedling exit the greenhouse inside Styrofoam trays which keeps their roots moist and cool to prolong the seedling's life on its way to the customer. After running through series of treatments according to the customer's requirements, they are placed inside the cages and marked with stickers to prevent mixing of varieties, and sent to the customer whilst keeping private telephonic contact in order to coordinate the discharge of the cages.
Before transporting sensitive varieties like pepper and tomatoes, strict measures are taken to reduce the time the seedling wait outside the greenhouse before they're loaded to the sealed and sterile truck
The nursery office maintains continuous contact with the farmer in order to coordinate the unloading of seedlings so that he can prepare with his workers.
