A short distance from the city of Be'er Sheva, on the road to Netivot you can stop and enjoy a real green experience – Hashtil – a professional nursery specializing in growing vegetable plants and spice herbs and ornamental plants, from the germinating seed to the growing sapling.
Inside the Nursery, a visitor center for lovers of plants, gardening and everything in between…
In Hashtil, you can make a free tour which includes the story of the place and the life of the founding family, hear brief explanation accompanied by a video regarding the growing methods and the varieties of plants which are grown at the nursery, and finish with a visit at the unique Garden Center that will let you take the nursery with you to your home or to your private garden.
A seating point with light refreshments will stand for the comfort of the visitors.
At the end of the visit, visitors can taste the experience of planting - a position where they can prepare a personal gift - a potted plant from one of the nursery plants.
Tour structure:
1) arrival and refreshments
2) gathering at the garden accessories hall for a historical explanation about the founding of the nursery
3) watching a video about the nursery's activity today
4) brief overview about the parts of the flower and the structure of a vegetable seedling
5) free time to tour and purchase at the Garden Center
6) pot plants preparing workshop where every visitor will receive a pot plant to his home as a gift
