Vegetable seedlings

The vegetable department in Hashtil Nursery was the first department to establish with the opening of the nursery, and was based over the knowledge accumulated by Meir and Yohanan Saida in growing vegetables on the family farmlands, and their familiarity with the difficulties of this field of occupation – such difficulties that pushed the two brothers to give them a solution by moving to methods of growing vegetables from seedlings.

Hashtil Nursery specializes in the manufacture of hundreds of millions of healthy seedlings per year and markets them to farmers all over the country.
Hashtil's seedlings give the farmer the confidence that his area will produce successful and large crop that will meet his obligation to suppliers.
In addition to these the Nursery provides grafted and organic seedlings under supervision that comply with the stringent standards in the field.
Hashtil Nursery sees a value in promoting healthy agriculture for the man and environment without compromising on seedling durability which is an important factor in the organic growing method without chemical treatments.

Flower plants

The flower department which was established in 1992 rode on the success of the vegetable department and by using the same professional methods developed there, put new standards in the field of private and public landscaping.
Hundreds of varieties of ornamental plants – seasonal and multi-annual - are grown at the nursery and can be found in every corner all over the country: in public areas, hotels, institutions and private houses. For the convenience of our private clients, all the variety of products can be purchased at the Garden Center located on the nursery ground.

Herb Plants

Along with the establishment of the flower department, and the building of a professional implantation chamber for cuttings - operating under strict sterile conditions, the nursery has expanded its range of products and began providing wide range of mass produced herb plants for professional growers in a form of cuttings (so called – "starters") in addition to the herb plants produced by the regular mechanized sowing method.
Hashtil Nursery specializes in growing and marketing of quality spice plants from all varieties – from herbs for cooking, green leaves, herbal leaves for tea, and up to medical herbs.
